Meraas announced the launch of Dubai Gourmet, a new business designed to deliver Dubai’s residents and visitors inventively-themed, gourmet dining destinations.
Dubai Gourmet will introduce innovative and enriching experiences to the city, that will elevate the concept of ‘experiential dining’ to a whole new level. Drawing inspiration from some of the world’s most fascinating cuisines, cultures and traditions, each destination will offer visitors a different authentic experience. Themed settings, inventive combinations of fine-dining, and memorable entertainment will immerse guests, cultivating an understanding and appreciation of international cuisines and cultural traditions.
Heading the Dubai Gourmet team is Chief Executive Officer, Abdin Nasralla. A hospitality expert with experience in Dubai, Abdin is considered one of the pioneers in the region’s tourist industry.
Dubai Gourmet’s concepts will be located both in stand-alone venues, as well as existing and upcoming Meraas destinations throughout the Emirate. The first concept, Qasr Al Sultan is due to open in January 2017 at close proximity to “The Outlet Village” and Dubai Parks and Resorts in Jebel Ali.
Set within the desert, this majestic destination will welcome visitors to explore the ‘Life of a Sultan’. Guests will be immersed in the rich history and traditions of the region, experiencing a selection of traditional performances, a grand food bazaar, live cooking stations, and an authentic souk, all offering the ultimate in Arabian hospitality.
